Thunderously funky screams of brass meet the mischievously playful grooves of modern dance music. Beauty Slap uses horns, keys, and electronics to deliver their self-described genre, future-brass-thunder-funk direct to audience’s brains. The result is an irresistible urge to dance.

 

From performing as featured soloists in front of the Pittsburgh Symphony orchestra to providing race day music on the track of the Indy 500, Beauty Slap’s infectiously fun live show is optimized for dissemination of good vibes on a global scale. 

LONG BIO

Beauty Slap is a genre-defying powerhouse that fuses thunderous brass, sultry keys, and infectious electronic grooves to create their signature sound, self-described as "future-brass-thunder-funk."

​

Since forming in 2017, Beauty Slap has been making waves with their electrifying performances in clubs all over the country - from performing on the racetrack at the Indy 500 to alongside the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

 

With most of the members now serving as professors, they've also been sharing their knowledge and passion for music at colleges across the country.  Beauty Slap has enjoyed teaching residencies at California State University, San Francisco State University, University of South Carolina, Carnegie Mellon University, and Strings Music Festival.

Outside of the clubs and the classrooms, Beauty Slap has delivered musical projects to some of the biggest companies in the world.  Highlights include writing original music for ESPN, and playing private events for Google, Duolingo, Grocery Shop, and more.
